Greetings!

The Diamond Valley Chamber Of Commerce would like to invite all members and people involved with or interested in commerce in the Diamond Valley Area to our Dec 12 Meeting at the Valley Neighbours Club in Turner Valley.
The meeting starts at 7 pm.

Beside the regular topics there will be a brief report on the Cowboy Trail conference and workshop, and how we can benefit from being part of the Cowboy Trail (Highway 22 communities).

There will also be a report on the very successful "Sudden Surprise" Mini Trade Fair on December 1 in Turner Valley.

Other planned topics: I will be re-introducing my 2002 motion of a Derrick Raising event. After giving it the five year rest a discarded motion requires, maybe now there will be more enthusiasm for it. In general, it would be a fun team event, where teams of four to six people raise a 30 foot wooden derrick by pulling on a rope. I still believe that, after the first year, we can get nice corporate sponsorship and can turn the event into a focal point of the Cowboy Trail area, and promote the historical aspects of the area.

We will also invite and discuss any other ideas that would help to promote the area.

Helmut Morscher
President of the Diamond Valley Chamber of Commerce
