Village of Longview

Longview is located on the Cowboy Trail (Highway 22 South) approximately 19 km south of Black Diamond and 20 km West of High River.
  We are also on the corner of Highway 541 West to Kananaskis Country.  This road opens up June 14th and closes in the fall
 of year depending on the snow fall. We are surrounded by fantastic views of the Rocky Mountains and rich ranchlands,
 no matter what direction you look it is awe inspiring.

Longview offers a wide variety of restaurants to satisfy anyone's taste.  Our historic Twin Cities Hotel is full of memorabilia
 from the early Oil & Gas days when Little New York and Little Chicago were homes to over 20,000 people.

Each year there is an event which has been called Little New York Daze.  This event is now called the Longview Stampede and will
 run for 10 days beginning on July 18th of this year.  Watch our web page for further updates and contact information.

 from May - October each year.  Longview has a campground with limited hook-ups for power.  There is a monitored dumping
 station available as well. 

Come for a drive, come for dinner or just come and visit our beautiful Village.  Be sure to be mindful of our school and school
 zone in the Village limits, where our precious children are preparing for their futures.
