Community Futures Highwood (CFH) (HBDC) is a non-profit Community Economic Development Organization 
established in 1986.
  It serves the geographical region covered by 10 incorporated Municipal Governments located 

in the MD of Foothills;  MD of Willow Creek; Vulcan County & Kananaskis Improvement District.
 
The Organization is under the direction of the 10 duly elected municipal councils it serves and provides 
Community Economical
 and Business Development Services to the region.
  
 
The organizations focus is "Job Creation" and “Sustainable Growth” through its programs as well as access to various
 Federal and Provincial Government services and information. 
 
Some of the more familiar services include assistance with Business Loans; Business Planning; Job Search;
 Career Planning; Job Resumes Business Training; and Community Economic Development Project Development
 and Facilitation of Services.
 
We also offer as part of our Training Services a regular video conference business training sessions offered in our
 Community Futures
